What data we store
When you connect your Instagram account to a business on ANKOR, we store:
- Your Instagram username and user ID
- An access token (encrypted) to fetch your media feed
- A cached copy of your recent posts (images, captions, stats)
We do not store your Instagram password, direct messages, followers list, or any private information.
How to delete your data
You can delete your Instagram data from ANKOR in three ways:
- From the admin dashboard: Go to Admin › Integrations › Instagram and click “Disconnect”. This immediately removes your token and all cached media.
- From Instagram settings: Go to your Instagram Settings › Apps and Websites › remove ANKOR. This triggers an automatic deletion callback that removes all your data from our servers.
- By contacting us: Email support@ankorflow.com with the subject “Instagram Data Deletion Request” and we will process it within 48 hours.
What happens after deletion
- Your access token is immediately revoked and deleted
- All cached media (posts, images, captions) are removed
- Your Instagram user ID and username are removed from our database
- The Instagram feed section on the business website will stop displaying your content
